amandapalmer: this was taken sometime in the spring of 2010.if you don’t recognize it right off the bat, it’s an homage to madonna’s famous naked-hitchhiking photo from her “SEX” book, as seen here:it was amongst a bunch of the photos DESI took that were in the running for use on my radiohead covers EP later that summer. we thought about making it a poster or something…(we didn’t) but i unearthed it recently, and sean (@indeciSEAN) cleaned it up, and voilà!you can find #UkuleleHead (and more) for pay-what-you-want download on on my site (in the “digital” section)…or here:whatever…i mainly just wanted to share the photo with you, finally.
